| Abstract: | In Tripmaster Monkey： His Fake Book, the American contemporary writer Maxine Hong Kings- ton gives a deep reflection and criticism on the current situation of American contemporary culture. Guided by Jazz music concept of improvisation, the book tells the ＂journey to the West＂ by the protagonist Wittman Ah Sing, which integrates the Sino - US advantages. The author combines the unique content of American Chi- nese culture with the exploration for the outlet of contemporary civilization, suggests an active direction to change the American war thinking by innovative communal culture, demonstrates an American Chinese writer＇ s endeavor of interfering the reality by literary writing. |
