台湾地区高校通识教育理念与模式

摘    要:以我国台湾大学、台湾清华大学和台湾中山大学为例,重点探讨了台湾地区高校通识教育理念与运行模式.通识教育不是专业以外的补充教育,而是建构专业基础的教育;通识课程不是浅化的专业课程,而是具有整合性与贯穿性的课程;通识课程不是在教有趣的东西,而是以学习者为本位,建构其所需具备的“核心能力”.确立通识教育在大学基础与核心教育中的地位,统筹课程体系、课程建设与经营管理,培养基于专业教育和通识教育的跨领域整合能力的人才,将对大陆高校文化素质教育改革的进一步深化带来影响.

Abstract:Taking the case of Taiwan University,National Tsing Hua University and Sun Yat-Sen University,the current article explores the philosophy of general education and its operating mode of universities in Taiwan.General education is the foundation of specialty education instead of supplementary education;it offers comprehensive and inclusive courses rather than simplified specialty courses;it includes learner-centered teaching content and methods to build the "core ability" of the student instead of asking him to learn the interesting things.Establishing the position of general education in basic education and kernel education of colleges and universities,making an over-all plan for the curriculum system,curriculum construction and management,and producing talents with the ability to make field-crossing integration will exert great influence on the further reform of the cultural quality education in Mainland China’s institutions of higher learning.
