Abstract:A new type of Ni-Fe-W-P-S wear-resistant brush plating layer isdeveloped, and its microstructure is investigated at different temperatures by usingX-ray diffractometer, transmission electron microscope and surface analytical appa-ratus. The results revealed that the plating layer is composed of amorphous and mi-crocrystalline matrix and intermetallic compounds. Such a microstructure is verybeneficial to improving its wear-resistance.This new type of plating layer can replacethe chromium plating technique which is very poisonous for human health and harm-ful to the agricultural production.
