| Abstract: | Worship of rock was an important component of Mongolian primitive worship, the relative implied meaning of which has much to do with those of Heaven, Fire, Soul, Gods. Rock with God's will is the messenger of Heaven, and is the symbol of God's power; Rock is the source of fire, and is also the symbol of Vulcan; Rock is the body for soul to adhere to. Rock is the one of soul, divirities and personification. In conclusion, worship of rock reflected Mongolian thinking characteristics. Meanwhile, the implied meaning of worship of rock also reflected their standpoints of natune, philosophy, lives and appreciation of the beautiful. |
