| 摘 要： | 在20世纪中国传记文学发展史上，胡适是一位现代传记文学的开风气者。他最早提出“传记文学”的名词，比较中西传记的差异，指出传记文学的起源、人格教育作用。他提倡写自传，传记可以“给史家做材料，给文学开生路”，这些观点具有现代传记文学理论上的开创意义。他同时创作了《李超传》、《四十自述》、《丁文江的传记》等传记，虽以史学价值为主，但他尝试用文学笔法写现代传记，勇于实践，值得后人借鉴。

| Abstract: | Hu Shih ,a Pioneer of biography in contemporary China,is the first person to advance the term Biography ;the differences between Chinese and western biographies;the origin of biography and the effectiveness of personality education.He encouraged people to write autobiographies or biographies so as to provide material for historians and open new channel for literature.These ideas are of some starting significance in The Chinese Literary theory of biography.Meanwhile he published Biography of LI Chao,Self_Narration at Forty,Biography of DING Wen_jiang etc.No matter how conscientiously he pursued historical truth he attempted to employ liferary techniques in his writings. |
