| 摘 要： | 斯坦贝克的小说《人鼠之间》主要描写了20世纪30年代美国农业季节工人对美好生活的渴望和最终梦想的幻灭。通过对小说人物群像的分析,论述作品中反映的当时社会底层劳动人民的孤独感和对爱的渴望这一主题。

| Abstract: | Steinbeck’s novel of Mice and Men mainly depicts workers’pursuit and disillusion of dreams in California ranch during 1930s.This paper analyzes the characters in the story and presents the novel’s theme that poor men at that time fear loneliness,and that they crave for others’understanding and companionship. |
