| 摘 要： | 从索尔?贝娄的作品所体现的哲学思想入手，探讨贝娄自我哲学从存在主义走向浪漫主义的转向及其表现，具体分析作品中这一转向的创作历程。通过剖析索尔?贝娄对自我定义的独特认知和作品所传递出的存在的勇气，得出结论———自我的追寻必须在对其所处世界的参与和对周围世界的感受中才能得以实现，否则就是一具空壳，就会走向极端主义。

Turning of Ego and the Courage to Be |

| Abstract: | On the basis of the philosophy expressed in Saul Bellow's works ,this thesis is trying to explore the turning of ego from existentialism to romanticism ,analyzing his transition process of writing .By work‐ing on the author's specific understanding of ego and the courage to be shown in his works ,this thesis is to prove that ego can only be attained in the course of participating in and experiencing of the outside world , otherwise ,it is nothing and tends to go to extremism . |
