| 摘 要： | 指出作为美国图书馆事业的重要组成部分,东亚图书馆对东亚学术研究和东西方文化的交流起到了极大的推动作用:从美国东亚图书馆的起源、馆藏规模、联盟组织、服务方式和內容变革等方面简述美国东亚图书馆事业的最新发展状况;认为如何充分应用新技术来提高服务水平和质量是美国东亚图书馆要研究的重要课题。

| Abstract: | East Asian Libraryis one of the important parts of American library resources and has been playing an important role in promoting East Asian studies and international cultural exchange. This paper describes the development of the East Asian Library from the aspects such as its origin, holdings and its organization. With the rapid development in information technologies and the network, changes and new progress of library services have been made in the East Asia Library. And in this way, holdings of East Asian Library have been expanded and the sharing of resources have been realized to great extent |
