主述位理论与大学英语写作教学

摘    要:英语写作是大学英语四级考试的一个重要内容,但从历年四级考试成绩来看,写作是学生整个卷面分数最低的一项。因此,要使学生顺利通过英语四级考试,除了学生本身必须具各一定的语言基础外,对他们写作能力的训练也是不容忽视的。本文针对大学生英语写作中存在的问题以及传统大学英语写作教学的缺陷,提出把主述位理论运用于大学英语写作教学之中,希望对老师和学生均有很大的帮助。

Abstract:English writing is a major part in College English Test for Band Four(CET4),but taken the results of CET4 over the years for reference,writing is the worst part in their CET4 examination.So for the sake of passing through CET4, the training of students' writing skill must not be ignored except that students themselves should have certain linguistic foundations. This article,aimed at the problems existing in college students' writing and the limitations of traditional English writing teaching,suggests the application of theme-rheme theory into college English writing teaching.It is hoped that it can contribute greatly to both teachers and students.
