| 摘 要： | 本文通过对知识管理是信息管理的延伸和发展以及对图书馆管理的启示的阐述，指出用户对基于创新的知识需求决定了新世纪图书馆管理必然从信息管理发展到知识管理，进一步论述了图书馆应积极实施知识管理，发挥知识经济时代图书馆知识传播，知识服务和知识创新的作用。
