| 摘 要： | 徐光启“人口三十年而加一倍”的观点萌发于明代宗室人口发展的部分史实。笔者以为,徐光启的“生人之率”实属臆断,徐光启率先探讨“生人之率”却值得称道。

| Abstract: | Xu Guangqi's idea that "the population will be twice as large as it is in 30 years" was based on part of the historical facts about the increase of the royal population in the Ming Dynasty. Xu's idea of birth rate is only a subjective supposition. But it is praiseworthy of him to have studied the rate of birth for the first time in history. |
