论第二语言教学的认知语言学原则与方法

摘    要:语言是人类认知活动的产物。认知语言学以认知为出发点,研究语言的产生、习得及其使用,其理论及研究成果给第二语言教学提出了一个新思路、新视角和新方法。自动化能力、有意义学习、期待回报、内在动机与学习策略等是第二语言教学的主要的认知语言学原则,其中每条原则都有其独到的方法。

Abstract:Language is the product of human being's cognitiv e activity. Cognitive linguistics, which is based on cognition, studies the production, acquisiti on and application of language. It offers a new way of thinking, a new perspective and a new method for second language learning an d teaching. This paper triestoprobe the cognitive linguistic principles of s econd language teaching and its pedigogical implications from the following fiv e aspects: 1) automanticity; 2) meaningful learning; 3) anticipation of reward; 4) intrinsic motivation; 5) learning strategy. The purpose is to improve the t raditional second language teaching.
