| 摘 要： | 图书馆是收集、保存和传递人类知识与文化的重要场所,尤其是公共图书馆系统的设立和运行,为促进国民知识共享、提高国民素质和实现终生教育提供基本保障。但是公共图书馆的设立与运行离不开法律的规制。美国图书馆的法律体系和政策框架对于图书馆建设和运行具有重大影响。认识法律在图书馆事业的作用,可以帮助公共图书馆更好地完善其政策、应对潜在的法律问题并减少其法律责任风险。

| Abstract: | Library is the important way to collect,store and transmit man’s knowledge and culture,especially establishment and operation of the public library system to provide basic guarantee to promote national knowledge sharing and quality,achieve lifelong education that we can hardly do without the legal regulation.The American library legal system and policy framework for library construction and operation have significant influence.Understanding the role of law in librarianship can help the public library better improve its policy,meet its potential legal problems and reduce its legal liability risk. |
