| Abstract: | Nowadays, the National Assessment of Educational Progress(NAEP), the repeat of the Third International Mathematics and Science Study(TIMSS R) and the Programme for International Student Assessment(PISA) are the most famous international programs of student assessment. By comparing the eighth grade assessment of NAEP 2000 with TIMSS R,and the scientific and mathematics assessment of PISA, this paper provides some ideas of the background, frameworks and contents of the three assessments to us. |
