Abstract:It is expounded that DomesticatiNg translation and Foreignizing translation are two key strategies in communicating cultural differences in translation. Based on the analysis of some specific examples of English-Chinese or Chinese-English translation, it is emphasized that the cultivation of intercultural awareness is of great importance in English teaching.
