| 摘 要： | 从《人性的枷锁》主人公菲利普生活经历的分析的基础上,可见"人性的枷锁"主要是指情感枷锁、金钱枷锁及宗教枷锁三方面。从《人性的枷锁》中可见毛姆语言犀利,风趣幽默,人物个性鲜明、独特,章节安排合理紧凑的创作思想和风格。

| Abstract: | On the basis of the analysis of character Philip's experience,the thesis reveals the theme of the novel-human bondage.i e.mainly emotional bondage,monetary bondage and religious bondage,thus it expounds the causes of these bondages.Meanwhile,through 'Of Human Bondage',the thesis will expound the ideas and style of Maugham's works: sharp and humorous language,distinctive and unique characters and reasonable and compact structure. |
