关于加强高校英语专业人文教育的思考

摘    要:本应体现人文教育特色的高校英语教学正在陷入"没文化"的尴尬境地。渗透人文教育、提高英语专业学生的人文素质,成为了高等院校英语专业教学改革中最为重要的环节之一。本文从语言与人文的关系、师生关系、教师自身人文素养、语感教学、民族性与人文性的关系、经典阅读和母语能力提高等七个方面,详细阐述了加强高校英语专业人文教育及其手段与方法。

Abstract:Influenced by educational policies and social streams, English majors, though supposed to be educated through liberal education, are considered to be "with knowledge but no culture", putting the university education in China into an awkward situation. Permeating Liberal education to promote the humanistic quality of Chinese university students is now becoming one of the most important tasks. This paper illustrates the detailed measures to deepen the reform of teaching in English faculties from seven main aspects, namely, language and humanistic, teacher and student, humanistic quality of teachers, language sense, ethic group and humanistic, classic reading and mother tongue ability.
