| Abstract: | Slang often appears in movies as an active element of language.Slang has its unique linguistic framework and abundant cultural elements so it holds a significant place in the study of foreign culture.Whether the slang is correctly translated can affect the whole translation and further influence the content the audience gets.The characteristics of slang will be analyzed first in this paper and then the translation strategies and examples will be discussed. |
