| Abstract: | Ancient Huizhou at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, which was in fashion for a time due to Huizhou merchants' rising during the Ming and Qing Dynasty, possesses a large number of well\|kept ancient groups of villages, among which there are countless and exquisite brick carvings, wood carvings and stone carvings known as "Three Carvings." This paper deals with the art of ancient Three Carvings and the deep connections with its social background and economic basis. |
