多模态视野下大学英语口语课堂教学模式的构建

摘    要:影响大学英语口语课堂教学效果的因素很多,大学英语口语教学中存在的问题主要是目前教师的教学模式无法适应学生的需求,学生在口语学习中自我效能感低下,外语教学环境不够完善。基于多模态话语理论,应对当前大学英语口语教学方法和策略进行整合,构建多模态化的大学英语口语课堂教学模式,改善大学英语口语教学,促进大学生英语口语交际能力。

Abstract:There exist many factors affecting the instruction of oral English in college classroom settings, among which are that teaching modes fail to meet the needs of the students, that students are low self-efficient in learning oral English and that foreign language teaching and learning environment is not physically well built. Based on Multimodal Discourse Theory, this paper makes a research of current teaching methods and strategies of oral English, then suggests constructing multimodal instructional model to improve oral English teaching, so as to promote college students'English communicative competence.
