| 摘 要： | 中国加入WTO对于东部地区是机遇大于挑战，对于少数民族地区则是挑战大于机遇；对于少数民族传统文化的冲击和影响，更是远大于对其经济发展冲击的负面作用和影响。但是，少数民族地区在面临挑战的同时，也面临着开放的机遇，知识的机遇，改革的机遇，市场的机遇和追赶的机遇。面对这一发展的挑战和机遇，少数民族地区应在努力解决自身劣热问题的同时，积极借助现代经济全球化的发展机遇及东部地区的发展优势，培育自身的优势和机遇，以加快促进少数民族的自身开放与现代化的发展进程。

| Abstract: | This article argues that China' s Entry into the WTO brings more opportunities than challenges to Eastern China,whereas the case is reversed i n the Ethnic Minority Areas.The impact upon minority' s traditional culture is even fiercer than that upon its economy.However,in the meantime,the Eth nic Minority Areas are also open to th e opportunities of opening,knowledge,reformation,market and catching-up.In order to quicken its self -opening and modernization process,great efforts should be made to remove self -d isadvantages and create advantages for development in the circumstances of modern economy globalization and th e rapid development of Eastern China. |
