| 摘 要： | 构造了竞争、管制与我国公立院校绩效之间的协方差结构模型.结果表明：教育劳务市场竞争有利于提高院校教育绩效,科研市场竞争有利于院校科研绩效提高不能得到证实,校长市场竞争有利于院校绩效改进,政府管制有利于院校绩效提高不能得到证实.提出了改进我国公立院校外部治理机制的几点建议.

| Abstract: | This paper presents a structure equation model to examine the relationship between public university performance and competition and regulation in China. The results show that increasing competition in education service market is associated with higher university & college education performance. And increasing competition in R&D market has no positive effect on university & college R&D performance. And the longer president's tenure is associated with the lower university & college performance. And regulation such as universities directed as branches of the central government, or merged by government order, cannot improve their performance. Finally, the significance of competition and regulation for improving public university & college performance in China is discussed. |
