| Abstract: | During the past 25 years, Swedish research libraries have witnessed three changes of catalogue code and the implementation of a computer system, first intended for integrated use but recently changed into supporting local stand-alone systems. The present code, based on AACR2, rejected 21.1B2 for serials, preferring t~tle as main entry in all cases. The reasons for this and other changes are described, and suggestions are made regarding improvement of the system of dissemination of cataloguing information. |
