| 摘 要： | 西方的社会结构大体经历了三种基本形态，即希腊罗马时期家庭领域与政治领域的二元结构、中世纪世俗领域与宗教领域的二元结构。以及现代社会私人领域、社会领域和政治领域的三元结构。考察西方社会结构的变迁，是准确把握基督教在现代社会中所处位置与作用的基础。基督徒彼此连接的方式以及他们对善的理解，使得基督教难以在公共领域占有一席之地．而更多地变成了私人事件。

| Abstract: | There were three forms social structure in Western history, namely a dualistic social structure of household and political realms in Greece and Rome Period, a dualistic social structure of secular and religious realms in Middle Ages, and a ternary social structure of private, social and political realms in Modem Age. Inves- tigating the transition of Western social structure is a foundation to understand the conditions of Christianity in to- day＇s society. Christianity is doomed to failure in entering modem public realms because it＇s associated form and understanding of good. Christianity is more a private affair. |
