| 摘 要： | 百泉书院的前身为太极书院，其兴起与邵雍等诸位理学大师倡道苏门山密切相关。至元，理学名家姚枢、赵复、许衡、窦默等纷纷栖居苏门讲学，使书院很快成为北方理学传播的中心。明代经多次修葺，书院制度日臻完善。清初理学大家孙奇逢任主讲多年，使书院再度成为北方人文荟萃之地。因而，百泉书院在中国理学及书院发展史上有着举足轻重的地位。
