翻转课堂模式下的英语教师话语分析

摘    要:英语教师的课堂话语是学习者语言输入的重要途径,教师话语的数量和质量对学生语言习得发挥着关键的作用。基于课堂互动理论的视角,结合翻转课堂及其理念,对比传统课堂,定量分析了翻转课堂中英语教师话语的特征。研究发现:(1)翻转课堂的教师话语量少于传统课堂;(2)翻转课堂的教师提问参考性问题多于传统课堂;(3)翻转课堂的教师反馈与传统课堂差异不大。针对研究结果,笔者提出了可行性建议,以期对翻转课堂教学改革有所帮助。

A Study of Teacher Talk in College English Flipped Classroom

Abstract:The quantity and quality of teacher talk is crucial in an EFL class as teachers'discourse is not only the instruction medi-um but also the main language exposure students receive from their teachers.From the perspective of classroom interaction,this paper compares and analyses teachers'talk between flipped classrooms and traditional ones.Findings reveal that teachers'discourse in the flipped classroom is less than that of the tradi-tional classroom.Teachers raise more referential questions in the flipped classroom while there is not much difference found in teachers'feedback between the flipped classroom and the tradi-tional classroom.Some suggestions are put forward based on the research in the hope to benefit classroom teaching practice in the flipped classroom.
