| 摘 要： | 大学理念和大学校长对于大学的办学方向、目标定位、人才培养等起着举足轻重的作用。大学校长对大学理念的确立、发展和实践起着关键作用；科学的大学办学理念是大学校长成功履行职责的基础；大学校长应认真汲取经典大学理念、积极树立现代大学理念、忠实于大学的传统理念、勇于吸纳国外大学理念。

| Abstract: | University idea and university presidents play crucial roles in the orientation of education, determination of objectives and cultivation of talents in universities. University presidents are indispensable to the establishment, development and implementation of university ideas. Advanced university idea is the base for the university presidents to perform their duties successfully ; University presidents should not only earnestly absorb classical university idea, but actively foster modem university idea , what＇ s more they should be faithful to the traditional university idea and have the courage to accept foreign university idea. |
