| 摘 要： | 英语测试,作为英语教学的一种具体手段,在日常教学活动及其它活动中用途广泛。本文根据测试的目的和用途,主要介绍了四种不同的测试手段——水平考试、成绩考试、分班考试、诊断考试,并就测试具体实施过程中出现的测试内容设计、测试手段的选择以及如何处理测试与素质教育的关系提出了一些看法和改革措施。

| Abstract: | English testing is a valid means to measure our students' language proficieney.According to test purpose,this essay introduces four common categories of tests:proficiency tests,achievements tests,placements and diagnostic tests.In addition,the writer puts forwards some countermeasures to be taken against the shortcomings of the prevalent testing in regard to testing content devise,choice of tes- ting methods as well as how to relate it to students' quality education. |
