摘    要:“语法翻译教学法”虽因“交际教学法”等新教学方法的流行而受到挑战,但因我国英语教学深受传统文化性格、应试教育、教师素质、语言环境等因素的影响和制约的实际,“语法翻译教学法”作为一种传统英语教学方法在当今英语教学中仍不失其实用性。

Practicality of the Grammar-Translation Method in Chinese English Teaching
Abstract:Although challenged by the prevalence of such new English teaching methods as " the Communicative Language Teaching "," the Grammar-Translation Method",as a traditional English teaching method, is still practical in the current Chinese English teaching,strongly affected and restricted by such practical factors as the traditional introverted characters , examination systems , teachers’ language competence and language learning circumstances.
