| Abstract: | The Religion of Worshiping God in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom is not a sort of cult, and by no means an evil cult. It is not an authentic Christianity but can be regarded as an unorthodox sect of the Christianity. Or rather, it is an extraordinary Unitarian Christian organization that has been turned out in that special period of time in the Chinese history. The paper concludes that the religion is a special product under the special circumstances in modern Chinese history. |
