| 摘 要： | 威廉·杰拉尔德·戈尔丁在其代表作<蝇王>中使用大量象征手法来表现"人心黑暗"这一主题.他认为人的本性基本上是邪恶的,所以对人生抱着悲观态度.戈尔丁运用的象征手法基本可以分为两类:个体象征和整体象征.个体象征形象主要来源于神话传说、圣经故事,以及西方古典文学作品;整体象征形象也就是通过上下文获得象征意义的形象.这两类象征手法交替运用,起了揭示和深化主题的作用,达到了神秘性与现实性并存的艺术效果.

| Abstract: | William Gerald Golding uses symbolic images to express the theme ofLord of the Flies.The theme is an attempt to trace the defects of human nature.Golding thinks that the nature of human beings is evil,and he is pessimistic.Basically,there are two kinds of symbolic images,of which one is directly,form the western culture and the other is from the context of the novel.By using alternately these two kinds of symbolic images,Golding shows perfectly what he has had an insight into the social problem-the evil in ... |
