| 摘 要： | 终身教育是解决人与生产力、人与社会不和谐的有效途径,其目的是为了人的可持续发展。21世纪竞争与挑战并存,提高妇女文化素质意义重大,而终身教育理念对新时期中国妇女的发展十分重要。本文从介绍终身教育的基本内涵及特征入手,分析了当前我国西部女性成人教育发展的现状,指出了建立西部女性终身教育体系的必要性,并就相关问题提出了几点建议。
