摘    要:中国近代戏剧崇高化具有戏剧的文化地位提升和悲剧诉求普遍强化的双重含义,从"化民"到"新民"到"革命",不同时代因素从各自需求的侧面推进着这一美学倾向。启蒙救亡语境和对西方艺术理论的崇尚导致了近代戏剧写实主义的一端独大。戏剧功利化实践和作为审美艺术的矛盾纠葛成为贯穿20世纪中国戏剧发展的主线。

Abstract:The sublimation of modern Chinese drama has double significations:the elevation of the cultural status of the art of drama,and the universal reinforcement of the consciousness of tragic complex.From dramatic moralization to new-democratization and to revolutionism,the factors of different eras have helped promote the sublimation tendency of modern Chinese drama in one way or another to cater to the respective needs of the time.The context of national salvation and enlightenment and the advocacy of Western art theories have contributed to the predominance of realism in modern Chinese drama.The utilitarian pursuits of drama and the portrayal of complicated entanglement and conflicts among people have always been the main themes in the development of modern Chinese drama in the 20th century.
