| 摘 要： | 教育部新世纪教改工程之一的大学英语教学改革已经进入实施阶段。教育部2004年颁布了《大学英语课程教学要求》，要求大学英语教学改革要有特点，要符合国情和校情；要在新的教学模式下，利用多媒体和网络技术，营造良好的语言学习环境，进而全面提高教学质量；要培养学生的个性化自主学习能力、文化修养和英语综合应用能力，使他们成为符合时代要求的、初步具有国际交流能力的复合型人才。
