| 摘 要： | 地理信息系统是一门新兴的学科,它的发展取决于其相关学科的发展。近年来,随着计算机技术的飞速发展,特别是计算机网络、面向对象数据库、计算机图形学、虚拟现实等前沿技术促使GIS技术发生了很大的变化,给GIS的发展提供了新的机遇。讨论了GIS与计算机前沿技术的关系,并对GIS的发展提出了展望。

| Abstract: | Geographical Information System (GIS) is a new developing subject, whose deve-lopment depends on the development of other correlative subjects. In recent years, the quick development of computer technology, especially some advancing technologies such as Internet, Object - oriented Database, Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality has changed very much on GIS' technology and has provided new opportunities for GIS. This article discusses the relationship between the GIS and the advancing technologies of computer,and puts forward the new views on the development of GIS. |
