| Abstract: | The article briefly expounds the characteristics and functions of the academic journals. The author holds that it is highly necessary to fully exploit and utilize the academic journals to serve the users by perfecting the construction of academic journals, bettering the purchase work of the journals and periodicals, improving the information inquiry service work, carrying out the individualized push-service, enhancing the quality of librarians responsible for the periodicals and journals comprehensively and carrying out the education to the users. |
