Abstract:To realize the automation of container terminal operation,a real-time monitoring system of automatic container terminal is designed based on the software development platform of Visual Basic 6.0.The OLE for Process Control(OPC) technology is used to realize the real-time communication between PC and S7-300 PLC through the industrial Ethernet.The actual operation of the container terminal model shows that the real-time monitoring system has achieved the design target,and is of stability and reliability.
