| 摘 要： | 目前关于英汉主位的研究多以陈述句为研究对象。根据韩礼德的主述位结构理论,通过对英汉四种疑问句的主位进行对比分析,发现两种语言中疑问句的主位构成仍然符合"英语为主语主位,而汉语为主题主位"的规律,体现了英语为主语突出语言,汉语为主题突出型语言的特征;英语疑问句的主位构成遵循严格的语法规则而汉语疑问句的主位具有跟汉语陈述句的主位构成相一致的灵活性和多样性。这可在英汉两种民族不同的思维方式中找到原因。

| Abstract: | Declarative sentences have been the objects of most studies in theme structure of EngUsh and Chinese.A contrastive study,on the basis of Halliday s theme/Rheme theory,indicates that the themes of interrogatives in English and Chinese also accords to the rule that subjects in English and topics in Chinese serve mainly as the themes which demonstrates English as subject-prominent and Chinese topic-prominent;the structure of theme in English interrogatives follows strict grammar rules while that in Chinese interrogatives are flexible,in compliance with that of Chinese declarative sentences.Those differences result from two nations’ different modes of thinking. |
