| 摘 要： | 东汉章帝时的白虎观会议及由此而结集的《白虎通义》,在中国经学史、政治思想史上是有重大意义的政治学术活动。由于种种原因,其成书过程、撰著者存在不少争议,而《白虎通义》的传本,历来希见。对于《白虎通义》思想性质的研究,目前主要有三个观点:封建法典;宗教神学;礼典。《白虎通义》作为封建法典的性质是侧重于规定其政治意义,作为宗教神学的性质是侧重于规定其理论渊源,而作为礼典的性质是侧重于剖判其内容体系。《白虎通义》作为中国古代典籍中的宪章性文献,其本质上是以儒家思想为指导原则的意识形态国家机器的组成部分。
