| Abstract: | The author analyses the upgrading and development of the teachers colleges and the background,puts forward ideas on the upgrading and teaching reform in the teachers colleges.The ideas are:transforming theories on education,resolution of upgrading,doing experiments on the mode and program of training junior high school teachers of four years training at tertiary level,who are geared to the 21st century,strengthening the contingent of teachers and improving the quality of teachers in the colleges and universities,paying greater attention to the research work on education and teaching reform,improving the teaching quality.All the teachers in colleges should seize the historical opportunity,further the reform in education,train better quality personnel,run the colleges at a higher level,and promote the upgrading and development of the teachers colleges. |
