后现代视阈下的二语习得研究

摘    要:后现代主义诞生于对现代主义梦想的幻灭,主要观点是质疑理性,倡导多元视角方法论.文章探讨了其相对主义倾向在二语习得学科的影响,提出在二语习得理论建构中不应走后现代主义带来的相对主义路线,但在研究视角和研究方法中应该积极运用后现代主义带来的开放心态.

Abstract:Post-modernism emerged from the crumbling of the illusions about modernism, aiming to propose a theoretical point and value stance contrasting with those underlying modernism. Postmodernism casts doubt on ratio- nality and therefore advocates multi-view methodology. Based on the discussion of the influence of post-modernism together with its relativistic inclination on Second Language Acquisition Studies, this paper points out that relativistic stance does not encourage SLA theory construction a lot, but it brings an open research angle for SLA research per- spectives and methodologies.
