| 摘 要： | 福州船政学堂是中国最早实施西方科技教育、引用近代教育制度、培养科技人才的新式学堂。它存在的四十余年间,为中国培养了大批的优秀人才,历史意义之重大、影响之深远非同期其他新式学堂所能比拟,这与其管理章程尤其是严格且颇具特色的考试制度有密切关系。
