| 摘 要： | 大学校标是典型的多模态语篇,它是由文字、图案、意象、颜色等社会符号构成的。以视觉语法理论为基础,对麻省理工学院的校标进行多模态话语分析,发现在大学校标这类多模态语篇中,图案、文字、意象、颜色等多种模态可以共同构建并传达大学文化内涵,帮助校标设计者科学地选择和协调各种模态,达到最佳设计效果,同时提高读者对多模态语篇的识读能力,促进大众对校标文化的理解。

| Abstract: | The university school-logo is a typical multimodal discourse. It is composed of words, pictures, images, colors and other social symbols. The analysis of the school-logo of Massachusetts Institute of Science and Technology on the basis of the Visual Grammar theory will find out how different kinds of multimodalities cooperate to convey the university culture. It can also help the designers select and coordinate various modes in a scientific way to achieve the best result in designing school-logos. At the same time, the readers can also improve their ability of comprehending multimodal discourse and culture Of university school-logos. |
