| 摘 要： | 利用小波变换的多尺度特性，根据压缩比的要求，选择恰当的小波函数和分解尺度，用此来检测出图象的边缘点，对一幅图象只存贮边缘点及左右码。如果要求较高的压缩比，则进一步用直线段或园弧段进行拟合，只存贮端点等及左右码，解码特别快。

| Abstract: | In this paper, we presented an algorithm, which is about a geography image coderbased on wavelet transform and multiscale edge, The algorithm, according to the multiscal edgeand the compresses option, selects a better wavelet and a better scale to detect Geography Image's edge. And to a geograply image, we only save curve polygonal points and color. The proposedscheme was tested on a image. And the result is encouraging. |
