| 摘 要： | In collaboration with their colleagues from the ROK and Mongolia, CAS scientists achieved their first success in obtaining a 40.18m ice core in a drilling operation from 5 to 20 June in an expedition to the （Hovd） Tsambagarav glacier in Altay Mountains of Mongolia.

| Abstract: | CAS Vice President JIANG Mianheng led a Chinese delegation to attend the 37th Scientific Assembly of the International Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) held from 13 to 20 July in Montreal,Canada.At the opening ceremony of the assembly,Prof.Jiang presented the 2008 Jeoujang Jaw Award to its winner. |
