Abstract: | ABSTRACT Born of the confluence of the traditional library and emerging technologies, Electronic Reserves offers a unique opportunity that we dare not pass. This paper will provide that opportunity by examining the growth of the Electronic reserves program at LSU, thereby bringing into focus certain trends which may affect both the future and development, perhaps even the survival, of electronic reserves. Further, the very evaluation process presented will provide a blueprint for the development and application of tools that can be readily incorporated into other local electronic reserve programs for effective evaluation. |
