| Abstract: | To increase access to federal depository documents, the University of Southern Colorado Library has cataloged selectively approximately one percent of incoming publications, as well as frequently used older ones. Using the OCLC Prism Service, we download bibliographic records to the hard drive of a PC, then transfer records into the on-line catalog. This article describes the specific processing steps developed, the expenses encountered, and the criteria used for selecting documents to catalog. |
