| Abstract: | Database searching permits the user to conduct certain types of research beyond the mere gathering of information. An example is provided by conducting a study of geographic bias in the print media using Magazine Index. Though there are limitations in conducting such research the potential exists for using on-line databases as a powerful research tool. |
