| Abstract: | The brilliant gift of Faulkner is incomparable among contemporary American novelists. In his novel The Sound and the Fury and other novels, Faulkner has enthusiastically revealed for us the American south full of senses of defeat, offence and frustration. The south complex of Faulkner is based on his knowledge of the south, his sympathy for the south and his deep attachment to the south. |
