| 摘 要： | 翻译水平是检测学生英语运用能力的重要手段之一。针对许多学者建议在大学外语教学中开设翻译课的问题,笔者通过实验进行了调查研究。实验结果表明,大多数教师和学生对在大学外语教学中开设翻译课持肯定的态度,翻译理论与技巧的系统学习有助于学生翻译水平的提高。

| Abstract: | Translation ability reflects the students' English competence. The author conducted a survey on whether translation course should be offered in college English teaching. The result showed that most lecturers and students held a positive attitude toward translation course in classroom teaching, and the systematical study of translation theories and skills did contribute to the students' translation skill. |
